Happy Holidays Babes!
Thank you for spending this whirlwind of a year with us.
A lot went down this year and we’re savoring every sappy second of the holidays and focusing on the happy things. We could all use a little more love. What better time to show off how much you love your people than with some fabulous holiday gifts? Here’s a little list of our favorite spots to shop local in Springfield to help you find the perfect last minute gift for a special someone!
The chocolate covered coffee beans are a go-to gift for the brother who’s super hard to shop for. They’re a great stocking stuffer for the person who has everything and really loves a caffeine boost. Don’t forget to grab a bag of freshly ground or whole bean coffee and a matching to-go mug on your way out! Mudhouse is our favorite place to grab a hot drink or sit and catch up with friends. Give the literal warm fuzzies this year!
Askinosie has it covered when it comes to chocolate. They’ve got a holiday gift guide ready to go! For the chocolate lover in your life, nothing else comes close to their Chocolate Library which boasts 15 premium direct trace chocolate bars, made by hand in their factory! There’s also a chocolate tasting kit and their signature Peppermint Bark. Their bark is made from single-origin dark chocolate, then layered with white chocolate and topped with crushed bits of natural peppermint. It’s a perfect holiday gift!
Do you have a beer lover in the family? If so, and they love local beer, why not put together a gift basket of all things Mother’s?? Springfield’s favorite local craft brewery has a huge selection of great looking merch: t-shirts, pullovers, hoodies, and button-ups. They also have caps and beanies and an assortment of glassware from traditional beer steins to pint glasses. If you really want to go big, take a peek at their light-up neon Mother’s sign or metal Mother’s wall tacker. Just the thing to dress up the home bar!
If you’re like us and you’re not as prepared for the holidays as you thought you’d be mere days before the gift giving is set to take place, you should head to the Farmer’s Market of the Ozarks for their essential Pop Up Holiday Market. It’s the place to pick up all your last minute, locally made gifts. Tomorrow, Dec. 22nd from 3pm – 7pm they’ll be serving up hot cocoa, singing carols, selling artisan products you’re loved ones will cherish, and hosting a meet ‘n greet with Santa (for the kiddos!). The Pop Up Holiday Market is lovely, and don’t forget to stop back by on Saturday mornings for their regularly scheduled market that takes place year-round.
Oribe is an award winning new product line taking luxury hair care to a whole new level. Their Gold Lust Repair and Restore gift set is the perfect gift for your hair obsessed friend, and comes with an adorable travel bag! They have a ton of other assorted gift sets. Makeup line Smith & Cult is an ideal gift for the makeup junkie who loves being the first to try out a new line!
Chabom Tea and Spice Market is THE PLACE to go if you’re not sure what to buy for your mom, grandma, aunt, or the mindful tea drinker or hippie in your life. The shop is adorable and you can’t miss the bright purple building on Historic Commercial Street. Everything inside smells incredible and loose leaf tea is available by the scoop. You’ll also love their incredibly lengthy list of herbs and spices. They have absolutely everything so if you’re looking for something special you’ll definitely find it at Chabom.
If you enjoy giving the gift of an experience more than something to be wrapped and unwrapped why not give the Potter lover in your life tickets to The Gillioz’s Potterfest – A Harry Potter Film Festival from February 17-19th. The fest is three days of everything Potter where they’ll be showing all 8 films and selling commemorative tees, throwing costume contests, and doing raffles with insane prizes! All tickets are general admission but a pass for the entire three days of events is $50. Wrap up the tickets in one of their Potterfest T-Shirts, now available for pre-order here!
We love you all Reindeerly (ha!) and we can’t wait to see you again in the New Year, babes. Have a safe and happy holiday!
