If you’ve been keeping up, you’ve seen our first Fall Fashion Part I post and video and you’ve watched our Fall Fashion Part II video. From the bottom of our wine soaked and glitter coated hearts, THANK YOU!
We love styling these shoots and finding fierce babes to model for us. We couldn’t do it without all the support from local boutiques, salons, and you!
We are so excited to share our Fall Fashion Part II post featuring pieces from Inspired Boutique and a few faves we found at some local thrift shops.
Working with thrifted finds and vintage-wear is fun and a bit challenging because sizes weren’t always what they are today. For instance, a vintage size 8 is more like a modern size 4 so when you’re styling there’s no better method than to just try it on the model and see if it works!
Full disclosure – a couple of the coats you’re about to drool over came from the closet of one Mr. Nigel Kindrick Lee, our bestie and fashion forward costume collector. The vintage blue velvet on Gabi, the fluffy white cropped jacket on Jess, and the shaggy black coat on Cori all came from him. We know, fabulous.
Cori’s rocking a mix of vintage pieces like the leather and fur collared coat paired with polka-dot pants in cream from Inspired Boutique, a statement top with glitter embellishments from The Review Shoppe and teal booties we bought from our model Jess the day of the shoot!
Fall reminds us of the best parts of back to school, and there’s just something about a vintage denim jacket with a great sweater that we love. We accessorized this look with a thrifted polka dot scarf and BAM!
Eat your heart out.
It reminds us of the dresses we used to wear to junior high formal, in a good way. We love the way this sweater gives the skirt a casual feel and the choker gives it an edge.
Megan is modeling a structured white skirt from Envy and a thrifted blazer that really pulls the look together.
Sometimes the things you think won’t work together are really a match made in heaven waiting to happen. We weren’t sure how to style these two pieces when we found them but wouldn’t you know it, they were meant to work together on Miss Ashton May.
Pumpkin and gold glitter. Fall at its finest.
Cori is totally channeling Stevie Nicks in this floppy black hat and ankle length dress from Inspired Boutique. We love the way it shows off her beautiful skin!
Fall tends to be a bit chilly, but there are those occasional days where its warm by noon and you’re ready to lose the jacket and bear those arms and legs while you still can! Gabi looks strong and beautiful in these pieces from Inspired Boutique.
We can’t ignore that every day in November brings us one step closer to New Year’s Eve. This vintage mini dress is PERFECT when paired with this shimmery silver blazer, but take off the blazer and look out NYE because we’re coming for ya.
