It took years to realize the pale, fuzzy skin areas above my eyes could be anything other than invisible. Then one day, my mother and I were doing our makeup together, and it finally clicked. Watching the difference it made on her face, I realized the Power of The Brow.
Bonus point, when your brows suddenly go from invisible to visible, people start to notice your facial expressions a lot more. How many emotions are expressed through the brows lifting, furrowing, pinching, and arching? A LOT. When you are needing to convey how annoyed you are, defined arches are your friend that add a little intimidation, and it’s a lot of fun.
Everyone has heard how eyes are the windows to the soul, but had you thought about eyebrows being the window treatment? When you find the perfect drapes for your living room windows the entire room comes together, and the same goes for your face.
When I first started, I was using pencils. I liked that I finally had some color up there, but was quickly disappointed in the lack of pigment and how it could be wiped off somewhat easily. I was using a pretty crappy product, but even now after trying others I prefer pencils for brunette brows more so than blondes.
